How do I turn Notta Memo on and off?
To power on the device, press and hold the record button for 0.5 seconds.
To turn it off, press and hold the same button for 5-7seconds until PowerOFF shows on the screen.
How do I start and stop recording?
When the device is powered on, press and hold the record / power button for 2 seconds. Release the button when the device vibrates once — recording will begin.
While recording, The recording icon will appear on the screen.
To stop recording, press and hold the button again for 2 seconds. The device will vibrate twice to indicate that recording has stopped.
How do I connect Notta Memo to my smartphone via Bluetooth?
Follow these steps:
1. Open the Notta app on your smartphone and allow Bluetooth access. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled.
2. Power on Notta Memo by pressing the record button. When the Bluetooth search icon appears on the screen, it’s ready to connect.
3. Follow the pairing instructions in the Notta app to complete the connection.
What recording modes are available on Notta Memo?
Notta Memo has two modes: Call Recording and Live Recording. You can switch between them using the physical toggle switch.
What is Call Recording, and how do I use it?
Slide the switch upward to enable Call Recording.
In this mode, Notta Memo detects vibrations from your phone to begin recording.
For best results, place the device in a MagSafe-compatible leather case and attach it securely to the back of your phone.
What is Live Recording, and how do I use it?
Slide the switch downward to activate Live Recording.
You can record while holding the device or by placing it on a table.
File Transfer & Management
How are recordings transferred to the Notta app?
Once Notta Memo is connected to the Notta app, audio files saved on the device will automatically transfer via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
Please follow the app’s on-screen instructions for detailed steps.
When should I use Bluetooth vs. Wi-Fi for file transfer? (transfer via Wi-Fi coming late June)
For smaller files, Bluetooth is recommended.
For larger files, Wi-Fi is more efficient.
You may see a "Wi-Fi Transfer" message on the device screen when Wi-Fi is used.
How is recording data managed in the Notta app?
Once synced, your recordings will be automatically turned into notes.
You can view and manage these notes in the mobile app or by logging in to app.notta.ai from your computer.
