how to add audio to powerpoint

Open Your PowerPoint Presentation

Launch PowerPoint and open the presentation where you want to add audio. Click on **File** and then **Open** to select your presentation.

Select the Slide for Audio

Navigate to the slide where you want the audio to play. Click on the slide in the left sidebar to select it.

Insert Audio

Go to the **Insert** tab in the top menu. Click on **Audio** and then select either **Audio on My PC** to upload an audio file from your computer or **Record Audio** to record a new audio clip.

Adjust Audio Settings

After inserting the audio, a speaker icon will appear on the slide. Click on it, then go to the **Playback** tab to adjust settings such as **Start** (choose between **Automatically** or **On Click**) and **Loop until Stopped** if needed.

Save Your Presentation

Once you have added and configured your audio, click on **File** and then **Save** to ensure all changes are saved. You can also preview the slide show to test the audio playback.
