how to add a text box in canva
Open Your Canva Design
Log in to your Canva account and select the design you want to edit. Click on the **'Create a design'** button if you want to start a new project.
Select the Text Tool
On the left sidebar, locate and click on the **'Text'** tab. This will open options for adding different types of text to your design.
Add a Text Box
Choose one of the text options, such as **'Add a heading'**, **'Add a subheading'**, or **'Add a little bit of body text'**. Click on your choice to add a text box to your design.
Edit the Text Box
Click on the text box that appears on your design. You can type your desired text directly. Use the toolbar above to adjust font, size, color, and alignment as needed.
Finalize Your Design
Once you are satisfied with the text box, click outside of it to deselect. Review your design for any additional adjustments before saving or downloading your work.
