Sign In to Your Outlook Account

Open your web browser and go to the **Outlook.com** website. Click on **Sign in** and enter your email address and password to access your account.

Access Account Settings

Once logged in, click on your profile picture in the upper right corner. From the dropdown menu, select **View account** to navigate to your account settings.

Navigate to Security Settings

In the account settings menu, find and click on the **Security** tab. This section contains options related to your account's security and privacy.

Select Closing Your Account

Scroll down to find the option labeled **More security options**. Click on it, and then look for the link that says **Close your account**. Follow the prompts to proceed.

Confirm Account Deletion

Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your decision. You may need to verify your identity through a security code. Once confirmed, your account will be scheduled for deletion.
