Navigate to the YouTube video you want to timestamp. Click on the video to start playing it.
When you reach the moment you want to timestamp, **pause** the video to note the exact time.
Click on the **share** button below the video and copy the URL provided.
To create a timestamp, add `?t=Xs` at the end of the URL, replacing `X` with the number of seconds. For example, for 2 minutes and 30 seconds, use `?t=150s`.
Paste the modified URL wherever you want to share it. The link will take viewers directly to the specified time in the video.
