1. Introduction SpeakON ("we", "us", or "our") is a product operated by Notta Inc. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users. This Policy describes how we collect, use, process, and disclose your information when you use the SpeakON AI voice input method application and related services (the "Services"). Please read this Policy carefully. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy. 2. Information We Collect

  • Account Information: Such as your name, email address, and password when you create an account.

  • Original Voice Recordings: Retained only for the short term necessary to provide the service output, except in cases where you have explicitly provided separate consent for us to retain audio data for feedback analysis purposes. We process voice recordings only with your consent as the user. However, if recordings involve third parties, you must ensure all necessary consents are obtained under applicable laws, including all-party consent requirements in certain applicable law.

  • Transcribed Text and Generated Content: When you use the Services to transcribe audio recordings, we generate and collect the resulting text transcripts and any other AI-generated outputs based on your recordings ("Transcribed Text").

  • User Feedback:When you voluntarily submit audio recordings as part of user feedback or bug reports, we will explicitly seek your consent to retain and analyze such recordings to address your specific concerns and improve our Services. This consent is separate from our general data processing practices. These audio recordings will be stored for a longer period as necessary for analysis and improvement purposes, but will be handled in accordance with the security measures outlined in this Policy. You may withdraw your consent for us to retain this feedback data by contacting us.

  • Device and Log Information: Such as IP address, operating system, unique device identifiers, and crash data.

  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: To provide website functionality, analytics, and to support our commercial activities, such as measuring advertising effectiveness.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To Provide & Improve Services: To provide, maintain, personalize, and improve SpeakON, including using your voice data to generate and correct text. If you choose to share your transcribed text with us for model training, we may also use your transcribed text to train our AI models. You can control this and opt out through your settings.

  • Commercialization: To display advertising within our Services, measure ad performance, and inform you about new features, promotions, and services that may be of interest to you (you can unsubscribe at any time). We may use aggregated and anonymized data for business analytics and to demonstrate the value of our Services to potential partners.

  • Communication, Security & Compliance: To send service-related notices, provide customer support, protect our Services, and comply with legal obligations.

4. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any personal information through the Services. If you believe that a child has provided us with Personal Information in violation of this Policy, please contact us as indicated below, and we will investigate the matter and, if appropriate, delete the Personal Information.

5. How We Share Your Information 

  • Service Providers: With partners who provide services like cloud storage, data processing, analytics, and customer support. We bind them with contracts.

  • Commercial Partners: We may share aggregated, non-identifiable information with partners for business development, analytics, and advertising purposes. We do not sell your personal data.

  • Legal Requirements & Business Transfers: To comply with laws, respond to valid legal requests, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

6. Data Retention

All personal information collected through the Services, including voice recordings, Transcribed Text, and other Customer Content, is stored and processed exclusively within the United States. We utilize secure cloud infrastructure provided by reputable Amazon Web Services in U.S. regions with industry-standard encryption and access controls. No personal information is stored or transferred outside the United States without your explicit consent or as required by law.

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this Policy or as required by law. For example:

  • Original Voice Recordings: Retained only for the short term necessary to provide the service output, then deleted unless you explicitly consent for feedback..

  • De-identified Data for Training: May be retained longer to improve our AI models.

  • Account Information: Retained for the life of your account until you delete it.

7. Your Rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to: 

  • Access, Correction, Deletion, and Restriction of Processing.

  • Data Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

  • Opt-out of Marketing: Opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us.

8. Additional California Privacy Notice

This section applies solely to California residents. Under the CCPA/CPRA, you have the right to: 

  • Know about the personal information we collect and how it is used and shared.

  • Request deletion of your personal information.

  • Correct inaccurate personal information.

  • Opt-out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information (we do not sell your personal data as defined by CCPA).

  • Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.

  • Not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.

9.Data Security 

We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including: encryption of voice recordings in transit and at rest; access controls with role-based permissions and multi-factor authentication; regular security assessments and vulnerability scanning; and contractual requirements for service providers to maintain equivalent protections. Voice data is processed in secure environments with limited access. While no system is completely secure, we follow industry standards to mitigate risks.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post a notice on our website and update the effective date for material changes. Your continued use after such notice constitutes acceptance.
