1. Record and Save your Skype Call

During your Skype call, press the more options button. Then click on the ‘Start Recording’ button. When the recording starts, everyone on the call will be notified. Once you stop the recording or leave the call, the recording will stop, and the file will be available to download in the same chat. Keep in mind that the file will be available only for 30 days.

2. Upload your Skype recording

Sign in to your Notta Web account. Click the ‘Import Files’ option on your Dashboard's right side. There you will be prompted with the ability to choose the language of the file you want to transcribe and upload it. Once you’ve selected the file, the transcription process will begin automatically.

3. Receive your transcript

You will see the transcript show up on your dashboard in a matter of seconds or minutes, depending on the length of the file. Then you can click to open it and see if there are fixes that need to be made, such as proofreading.

3. Export your Transcript

On the top sidebar, Click the ‘Download’ button, and a new small window will appear. There you can change the output file to TXT or other formats and give it a name. Transcribing your Skype meeting and getting the transcript it’s as easy as following these four steps.
