Transcribe UberConference Meetings

To start recording your UberConference meeting, click on the 'Record' button while in the meeting. Then, select the 'Meetings' option from the menu on the left-hand side of your Dialpad dashboard. From there, select 'History' and choose the desired meeting you want to transcribe. Finally, choose either 'Audio Only' or 'Audio and Video,' and you will begin to download the MP3 or MP4, respectively.

First, log in to your Notta dashboard and click on the 'Import Files' button located at the top of the page. Next, you will see a box appear where you can drag and drop the MP3 or MP4 file of the meeting. Alternatively, you can click on 'Select Documents' and navigate to the file location on your device. Once you have selected the file, click on the 'Upload' button to begin the file transfer process.

Once your video files have finished uploading, the transcription process will begin automatically. The length of time it takes for the conversion to text will depend on the length of your meeting and the size of the file, but usually, it's only a few minutes. When the transcription is complete, the text appears on the screen. You can double-click on any section of the text to listen to the timestamped audio from the meeting. Plus, you can edit the text in real-time if there are any errors in the transcription.

To export your transcription, simply click on the 'Download' button at the top of your transcript. From there, you can choose the text format that suits your needs, such as TXT, DOCX, SRT, EXCEL, or PDF. If you choose the SRT format, you can use the transcription to add subtitles to your video. Another convenient option is to send the recording and transcription to your colleagues or clients through a shareable link. This means that they can access the content without needing a Notta account. To create a unique URL to share, simply click on the "Share" button in the Notta dashboard.
