Notta Brain is the upgraded experience formerly known as AI Chat. AI Chat mainly helped you ask questions about meeting content. Notta Brain keeps that Q&A ability, then adds cross-meeting analysis, file understanding, and deliverable creation such as slides, infographics, reports, tables, and drafts.
Why can answers change when I ask the same question again?
Notta Brain generates answers based on your prompt and the sources it can use. If your question is broad or the source scope is unclear, the answer may vary. For more consistent results, mention the exact meeting, file, folder, customer, project, or time range you want Notta Brain to use.
How do I make sure Notta Brain uses the right meetings or files?
Use @ to mention specific meetings, folders, PDFs, Word documents, Excel files, or other supported files. If you want a full review of a topic, include the project name, customer name, date range, or folder so Notta Brain can narrow the context before answering.
Can Notta Brain return every item from my workspace?
Notta Brain is designed to find and summarize relevant information, not dump every matching item by default. If you need a complete list, ask for “all items,” define the exact scope, and mention the folder, files, or date range you want included.
How do AI credits work in Notta Brain?
Notta Brain uses AI credits for actions such as Q&A, image generation, slide generation, and Smart Fill for Excel or Word files. Your monthly credit allowance depends on your Notta Brain plan, and standard Notta transcription plans do not automatically add more Notta Brain credits.
Can I preview and export generated files?
Yes. Notta Brain lets you preview and download generated outputs, depending on the file type. Slides can be exported as .pptx or .pdf, generated images can be downloaded, and AI answers can be converted into Word, image, or slide formats where supported.
